Here is a photo of the display case at the Country Music Hall of Fame's exhibit of original Patsy Cline letters called "Love Always, Patsy: Letters From The Jewelry Box." This display of letters that Patsy wrote to her first fan club president, Treva Miller, has been moved to the Rock and Soul Musuem in Memphis, TN where it will remain for one year. The new exhibit's grand opening was held on March 5, 2001, the 38th anniversary of Patsy's death. There are about ten letters on display along with Treva's scrapbook, a replica of one of her dresses (the one in this picture is one of Patsy's dresses) and many rare photos from Treva's collection.

Recently, MCA/Universal released "The Ultimate Collection," and it has charted on Billboard's charts. "Heartaches" and "Greatest Hits" are already multi-platinum selling LP's.

Patsy will be remembered in Nashville's "Nashville Nightlife Music Revue" by Lisa Layne this year. It premeired March 8, 2001.

The 74th Annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Parade has a Patsy theme to it. Charlie Dick and Julie Fudge, Patsy's husband and daughter, will be in the parade along with the authors of "Love Always....Letters to a Fan," Mike Freeman and Cindy Hazen. The Festival will be held from May 3-6 in Patsy's home town of Winchester, Virginia.

Interesting Patsy Facts Courtesy of Per Jonsson

Patsy stood 5' 5 1/2" tall. At age 23, she weighed 135 pounds, according to the information she included in her first letter to Treva Miller. Some other trivia: She had brown hair and brown eyes, her favorite foods were chicken and spaghetti, and she collected salt & pepper shakers and earrings. Her favorite flowers were RED roses. In the movie "Sweet Dreams," they wrongly indicate that she liked yellow roses, and therefore many fans believe that that was the case. It is unclear why they used yellow roses in the movie. One theory is that they mixed Patsy up with her sister, Sylvia Mae, who indeed likes yellow roses.
